That decent people still appear in real life - naturally, without pressure and without a scripted request.
Good people are not a myth. We look for proof in real life.
Do good people still exist? Proof against prejudice.
The loudest stories are often the worst ones. News and social media can easily teach us to judge a whole country, culture or group of people through fear, conflict or one bad experience. KindProof tries the opposite direction. During our own low-cost trips, quietly and without pressure, we notice moments when people choose decency, generosity or simple human help.
KindProof
This is not about gifts. It is about breaking lazy judgement.
One gesture does not “prove” a whole country. But every fair, helpful or generous moment adds weight against the easy prejudice that says “people there are like that”. KindProof collects those moments one by one.
The habit of judging whole places and cultures by the loudest negative examples, viral anger or someone else’s fear.
We also look at proportion. A kind act from an ordinary person and a gesture from a company, organization or larger entity are not the same - context matters.
Why this matters
We are not asking the world to be perfect. We are checking if it is still human.
Most people hear far more about scams, conflicts and arrogance than about fair behaviour, help and quiet generosity. Over time, negative stories can harden into prejudice.
So we ask a simple question in practice: when we travel with a small budget, pay our own way and do not push anyone, will people still surprise us in a good way?
The public log is based on our own observations. We do not run a public story-collection machine and we do not claim that one note speaks for a whole nation. We simply record moments that deserve not to disappear.
Every gesture counts
Every decent gesture weakens a stereotype.
A free coffee, a room improvement, a fair discount, patient advice, help with transport, a massage, wellness as a gesture from a business, or a person who simply treats visitors with respect. The size of the gesture is judged in context: what is generous for one person may be ordinary for a large business. What matters is the human signal behind it.

Real people behind it
Who is behind KindProof?
KindProof started from frustration with how quickly people judge places they have never truly seen. We travel modestly, pay our own way and watch for the opposite of fear: moments when someone chooses to be fair, helpful or unexpectedly kind.
No pressure, no fixed request
Want your place to be perceived through kindness, not prejudice?
If you know a hotel, restaurant, café, local service or people who would like their country or place to be seen from a kinder side, tell them about KindProof. Any natural form of support, cooperation or practical help on the road can add another piece of evidence against prejudice. They can contact us directly through the form.
Show your place fairlyWhat KindProof is - and what it is not
KindProof is a private, independent and unsponsored project. It is not a charity, review website or public story-harvesting platform. It is our own attempt to collect small but visible proof that decency still exists across countries and cultures.
